About Illinois Predictions
Short answer. Illinois Predictions follows what prediction markets say about Illinois races, clubs and public questions. Market Movers Media Inc. publishes it, quotes each venue as it prices a contract and takes no side.

Illinois Predictions is published by Market Movers Media Inc. The company publishes a group of state sites, and each one keeps to questions that are settled by something in its own state. This one follows the contracts that exchanges list on Illinois subjects: the 2026 races for governor and for the U.S. Senate, Illinois's seats in the U.S. House, the season and championship markets on the Bears, the Bulls and the Blackhawks and on Illinois and Northwestern athletics, Chicago's daily temperature markets and the daily contract on Illinois gas prices. Pages run under the IllinoisPrediction Staff byline, and the publisher reads every message sent to hello@marketmoversmediainc.com.
Nothing on the site can be bought, and nothing can be traded on it. It has no reader accounts, takes no orders and holds no deposits. A reader comes here to see what the venues listing an Illinois contract are quoting, set beside what public documents say about the question the contract settles on.
Where the numbers come from
Market prices on this site are exchange prices supplied by Prediction Genius and shown as percentages. Prediction Genius collects each quote from the venue that lists the contract, and every figure on a page is printed with the name of the venue that quoted it. When two or more venues quote the same line, the page leads with the lowest price any of them asks for Yes and names that venue beside it. Quotes from different venues are never averaged or blended into a single figure.
A percentage on this site is what a market implies, not a forecast or a recommendation. It is the level at which traders on one venue last agreed to deal, and a poll, a court filing, an injury or one large order can change it within minutes, so every price block carries the time it was last updated. The writing on each page stays with what does not move as fast: what the contract settles on, which source decides it, when it closes and what has moved its price before.
What this site does not do
The site takes no side in any race, game or contract, ranks no venue above another and never tells a reader whether or when to trade. Nothing here is investment, financial or legal advice. A venue appears on a page because it quotes the contract the page covers, and that is all the page says about it.
Prices are not set, adjusted or shaded by the desk. They arrive from the venues as quoted, and no venue pays for coverage, reads a page before it runs or has a say in how a page is worded; the disclosure page sets this out in full.
Whether a person in Illinois may trade a given contract is a separate question with a page of its own. The legal status page follows the Illinois Gaming Board's letters to prediction-market venues and the federal cases over Illinois's sports-wagering law, each with its date, and draws no conclusion from them.
Corrections and reviews
Corrections are made on the page they concern and dated. A corrected page states what was wrong and when it changed rather than folding the fix into a silent rewrite. To report an error, write to hello@marketmoversmediainc.com with the page, the sentence in question and, where one exists, the document that shows the right answer; the contact page lists the other requests that mailbox handles.
Every page shows the date it was last reviewed. Legal and election pages are reviewed every 14 days and after any filing or result. Market pages are reviewed every 14 days, club pages weekly while a season is on and monthly outside it, person pages every 30 days, section pages every 90 days and pages like this one every 180 days. A page that comes due for review stays published while it is checked; a review can change a page but never takes one down. What the site records about a visit is in the privacy policy, and the rules for using it are in the terms of service.
Common questions
Who publishes Illinois Predictions?
Market Movers Media Inc. publishes Illinois Predictions as part of its network of state prediction-market sites. Corrections, tips, privacy requests and legal notices all go to the publisher's mailbox, hello@marketmoversmediainc.com.
Where do the prices on Illinois Predictions come from?
Prediction Genius supplies them from the venues that list each contract, such as Kalshi and Polymarket, and each figure is printed as a percentage beside the venue that quoted it. When several venues quote one line, the page leads with the lowest Yes price and names the venue offering it.
Can I trade on Illinois Predictions?
No. Market Movers Media Inc. runs the site to report prices and public documents, so it has no accounts, no order book and no deposits, and every trade happens at the venue that lists the contract.
